The Cupboards are Empty and Money is Tight

The cupboards are empty and money is tight
Said I to my wee pages unfilled
There will be no dinner tonight

I love how my new ornaments turned out! Over the past 3 weeks, I’ve had my head down in hand cutting, laminating, resining, and glittering 149 ornaments for every single animal across the 3 @thegentlebarn locations for the staff/volunteer Christmas parties. The CA party was yesterday and it was the best day ever! I was sad to part with my 3 favorite ornaments: Sage, Oliver, and Lakota. Luckily, I still have supplies left over and will be making more this week! Should I add it to my @jumblesnjots Etsy shop?
We had an amazing time driving around Orange County to return the bus down in Costa Mesa. I brought a whole busy bag thinking I’d practice guitar, draw some coloring pages, work, and learn macramé. I managed to finish work and spent the rest of the time on TikTok. When we got home, I made my first macramé crystal pouch!
Exciting news: I just posted the sticker to my #etsy site! Why are you vegan? Commemorate your reason with a personalized vinyl decal
Check out my latest creation! #veganforthem my friend needed some stickers for her water pump for an upcoming #pigvigil. I’ll be listing it in my #etsy store soon. DM me if you’re interested!
Just a little sampling of my range of talents for my portfolio. For my day job I do graphic design and miscellaneous office work. In my free time, I doodle, make graphics that I use for my #cricut, paint, and sew. And yes, those are carrots on the carrot bags 😂 I also run the info booth at The Gentle Barn on Sundays.
I had so much fun at the volunteer appreciation party at @thegentlebarn. I spent the day sewing and painting my sugar skull mask and then spent the evening reading tarot for the volunteers. I also set up an ofrena in memory of the animals we’ve loved and lost. It’s been a pretty amazing night!
